Hi everyone, I decided to look around for a bit to see if I could find anything on the "weird Upton place" mentioned in the newest post by Phillip Lawrence Aid. I then stumbled upon something called The Upton Chamber, which is in Upton MA. Here's a link to a site I found talking about it: www.blackstonedaily.com/Adventure&Attractions/upton_chamber.htm. I think its where Arthur Richard Gyle (or ARG) went. It is thought to be an "ancient" site, could be home to the power that kidnapped him.

Hey Robert, Excellent find, a little searching myself revealed a little more information on the chamber, strangene.com/ancient/upton.htm . This seems likely to be the "weird Upton place" mentioned. What do you think of ARG's telescope?

Not a hundred percent sure on the telescope, though I think I read something about this Upton Chamber being big with astronomical stuff (like constellations). What I am curious about is what "... personal reasons" made Phillip Lawrence Aid take down his previous blog on evil spirits.

Also, why hide this forum with a ROT20 code? Is it just an arbitrary puzzle? Is he afraid of someone finding the forum? Can ghosts use the internet? Or is there something more?

If I were to guess, the ROT20 is just a weed out to see who is really interested (or intelligent enough) to help. By intelligent enough, I mean people with the kind of mindset to tackle these types of problems, but again, just a guess. I'll do a bit more digging in regards to Upton and post anything remotely relevant I can find.

Oh! That makes sense now! I looked up the place and it only seems to be about 30 minutes away, not bad for a Saturday drive. I'm going to check out this 'Upton Chamber' tomorrow in the early after... I'm also going to try out this Twitter thing that people've been telling me to use along with Periscope... If any of my readers would like to watch my stream, you can do so with: @philiplaid I'll post an exact time either later tonight or early tomorrow.
In regards to the reason why my forum is protected by a code, my last forum was taken down after some random jerks went on and began posting very extreme conspiracy theories. A bunch of people got offended and reported the forum, and it was taken down. The code is now there to make sure that only people who are actually interested in my content find it.

Thanks Philip, I'll be sure to check in. I did some thinking about why Arthur would need a telescope, and the only conclusion I can think of is he wanted to see something in the night sky. I did some digging to see if there was anything special about 2/24/2016 and this is what I found. in-the-sky.org/news.php?id=20160224_16_100 and earthsky.org/tonight/zodiacal-light-is-glowing-pyramid-in-west-after-dark . This first link is in reference to the Moon and Jupiter passing extremely close to each other around the time of Wednesday evening. The second talks about Zodiacal light that was apparently also visible. However, this link, www.armaghplanet.com/blog/have-you-seen-the-zodiacal-light.html says that zodiacal light cannot be seen with a telescope, leading me to believe he may have wanted to catch a glimpse of the former. As with any of this, I'm only guessing and welcome others to back me up or prove me wrong.

Probably shooting in the dark.

The thought of Toynbee being connected to this is interesting, hmm. It's definitely something to keep in mind.
